This Walachia Timbered Granary Construction Kit is a wooden craft kit for older children of a scaled model of a traditional timbered granary. This plastic free hobby kit includes 115 precision cut pine and plywood pieces for children to build their own realistic 3D model granery building. You will need PVA wood glue, scissors or a craft knife to complete this project (not included).
With clear step-by-step instructions, this Walachia Construction Kit contains all the wooden parts you need to create your own traditional style black and white timbered granary building, a tall, half timbered building to hold grain with a balcony. Children will learn about architectural design, with gables, roofs and bases made of plywood, doors and windows, and square section 9 x 9mm wooden pine planks to build the walls. Paper prints are included to be applied to the roof for a realistic tiled appearance, and sandpaper for making minor adjustments.
